1. The Promoter

The promotion is conducted by The Bolt Factory (“the Promoter”) to promote its products and online store at www.theboltfactory.co.za.

2. Promotion Period

2.1. The promotion runs from the date it is officially launched until 23:59 on 30 November 2026.

2.2. Only qualifying orders placed during this period will be eligible for entry.

2.3. Orders placed before the promotion starts or after it closes will not qualify.

3. Eligibility

3.1. The promotion is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who place qualifying orders through www.theboltfactory.co.za during the promotion period.

3.2. The promotion is limited to customers with delivery addresses within the Republic of South Africa.

3.3. Participants must provide accurate and valid contact information when placing their orders.

3.4. Directors, members, employees, agents and consultants of the Promoter, persons who directly or indirectly control or are controlled by the Promoter, and suppliers of goods or services in connection with the competition are excluded to the extent required by section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act.

3.5. The Promoter may verify a participant’s eligibility and order details before confirming the award of the prize.

4. How to Enter

4.1. Every individual order with a qualifying merchandise total of more than R600.00, including VAT but excluding delivery charges, earns one entry into the lucky draw.

4.2. An order with a merchandise total of exactly R600.00 or less does not qualify.

4.3. Each qualifying order counts as one separate entry, irrespective of the number of orders placed by the same customer.

4.4. There is no limit to the number of qualifying entries a participant may earn during the promotion period.

4.5. Multiple qualifying orders placed by the same customer will each be entered separately into the draw.

4.6. Entries will be recorded using the order records held by the Promoter. No separate entry form or additional entry fee is required.

4.7. The promotion does not change the ordinary prices of products. All qualifying products will be sold at their normal applicable prices, including any discounts ordinarily available.

5. Cancelled, Refunded and Invalid Orders

5.1. Cancelled orders do not qualify for entry.

5.2. Orders that have been fully or partially refunded, or for which a refund has been approved, will not qualify for entry.

5.3. If an order is cancelled or refunded after its entry has been recorded, the associated entry will be removed from the draw.

5.4. Invalid, fraudulent or duplicate order records resulting from a system error may be excluded following reasonable verification.

5.5. The Promoter will verify qualifying order records and relevant payment and refund statuses before finalising the draw.

6. The Prize

6.1. One winner will receive the following prize:

• 24-piece tool set
• ½-inch drive
• 12-point metric sockets
• Socket sizes ranging from 8 mm to 32 mm
• Advertised retail value: R2,500.00

6.2. The prize will be delivered to the winner at no additional cost, provided the delivery address is within South Africa.

6.3. The prize is not redeemable for cash.

6.4. The winner will not be required to pay an additional fee, make another purchase or provide any further consideration to claim the prize.

6.5. The prize will be awarded subject to verification of the winning entry and the winner’s eligibility.

7. Winner Selection

7.1. The winner will be selected at random from a pool containing all valid qualifying order entries received during the promotion period.

7.2. Every qualifying order represents one entry. Customers with multiple qualifying orders will therefore have multiple entries in the draw.

7.3. The draw will take place on or around 1 December 2026.

7.4. The Promoter will maintain sufficient records of qualifying orders, excluded entries and the draw process to demonstrate that the draw has been conducted fairly.

7.5. The selected entry and the associated order will be checked to ensure that the order qualifies under these terms and conditions.

8. Winner Notification and Claim Period

8.1. The winner will be notified on 1 December 2026 using the email address and/or telephone number provided with their order.

8.2. The winner will have 14 working days from the date of notification to respond and claim the prize.

8.3. For purposes of these terms, a working day means Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays.

8.4. The winner must confirm their identity and provide or confirm a valid South African delivery address.

8.5. If the winner fails to respond within the 14-working-day period, cannot reasonably be contacted, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter may conduct a further random draw from the remaining valid entries to select an alternative winner, subject to applicable law.

8.6. The alternative winner will be contacted using the same notification procedure and will have 14 working days from notification to claim the prize.

8.7. Once the winner has been verified and the delivery address confirmed, the Promoter will arrange delivery of the prize at no additional cost to the winner.

9. Personal Information

9.1. The Promoter will process personal information for purposes reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, verify qualifying orders, select and contact the winner, and deliver the prize.

9.2. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

9.3. The Promoter will not make unrelated marketing consent a condition of claiming the prize.

9.4. Any request for the winner to participate in promotional activity or permit the use of their image will be voluntary, and the winner may decline without losing the prize.

10. General Conditions

10.1. These terms and conditions will be made available to participants free of charge on request.

10.2. The Promoter will prepare and retain the competition rules and associated records and make the rules available to the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

10.3. The Promoter reserves the right to investigate suspected fraud or manipulation and exclude invalid entries where legally justified.

10.4. The Promoter will not change these terms in a way that unlawfully prejudices participants or their accrued rights.

10.5. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or waives any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived.

10.6. The promotion is subject to applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and its regulations.
